ISSN 0001-5555 Sir, Primary central nervous system malignant lymphoma (PCNSL) is a rare non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Although it accounts for less than 1% of cases of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, its incidence is increasing due to the ageing society (1). Histologically, the main type of PCNSL is diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). Local recurrence of PCNSL has often been observed, but skin metastasis of PCNSL is rare, only one case of skin metastasis having been reported previously (2). We report here a case of PCNSL with subcutaneous metastasis on the forearm.

Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia preceding the Diagnosis of Primary Central Nervous System Lymphoma
In this study, a 2.5-year-old boy suffering from a febrile seizure with normal laboratory tests and a history of immune hemolytic anemia was examined. Brain MRI demonstrated some tumors in the frontal, parietal, and occipital lobe that corroborated the pathology results of primary central nervous system lymphoma for the patient. The patient was treated with high- dose of Methotrexate. Our re...
متن کاملMalignant Meningioma with Lumbar Spinal Metastasis (a case report)
Meningioma is considered as a benign central nervous system tumor that accounts for approximately 18% of all brain tumors. About 5% of meningioma tumors are malignant and have more aggressive clinical signs and worse prognosis compared to benign tumors. Extracranial metastasis of meningioma is rare but in the case of occurrence, it is more prevalent in lung, liver and lymph nodes. Osseous metas...
متن کاملIntravascular Lymphomatosis Mimicking Primary Central Nervous System Lymphoma: A Case Report and Literature Review
We herein report a 75-year-old female patient with intravascular lymphomatosis (IVL) who presented with fever of unknown origin. Examination, including contrast-enhanced CT and (67)Ga scintigraphy, failed to show any lesions. Her blood levels of lactate dehydrogenase and soluble interleukin-2 receptors were high, suggesting a lymphomatous tumor. A bone marrow puncture was negative, and a random...
متن کاملUnusual Relapse of Primary Central Nervous System Lymphoma at Site of Lumbar Puncture
Primary CNS lymphoma (PCNSL) is a rare non-Hodgkin's lymphoma confined to the CNS. Local relapse of this disease is common, but extracranial or subcutaneous metastasis is rare with only a few cases being reported in literature. We report a 63-year-old male patient, who responded well to treatment for PCNSL but relapsed two and half years later with a lumbosacral nodule at the site of a previous...
متن کاملPrimary testicular lymphoma with subcutaneous masses as the sole manifestation of the first relapse and central nervous system lymphoma as the second relapse: A case report and literature review
Primary testicular lymphoma (PTL) accounts for ~1% of all non-Hodgkin's lymphomas and has a marked tendency for systemic relapse. The current study presents a unique case of testicular diffuse large B-cell lymphoma of non-germinal center B-cell subtype, with subcutaneous masses as the sole manifestation of the first relapse and central nervous system lymphoma as the second relapse. Subcutaneous...
